7:00pm - concert begins (second hour follow ed by zero hour)

What We Are Doing

Our annual Winter Jazz Band Concert is on We dnesday\, December 10\, beginning at 7pm in the EHS Theater. Second hour w ill perform first\, followed by zero hour. Both bands will perform five-si x tunes each. The concert is free and open to the public.


What We Are Wearing

For this performa nce\, all jazz band members are wearing \"concert black\".

From the jazz band syllabus\, con cert black is defined as: \;1) black dress\, black socks\, and black shoes\, or 2) black dress shirt (long-sleeve)\, black tie\, black p ants\, black socks\, and black shoes. This is the same concert attire as c oncert and symphonic band. For this concert\, students may wear one piece of purple\, \;gold\, or holiday “flair”\, such as a purple tie\, g old socks\, purple headband\, or a holiday blazer. Santa hats ONLY will al so be allowed for this performance and do not count against the one piece of \"flair\".

Our annual Festival Jazz Band Concert i s on Wednesday\, February 25\, beginning at 7pm in the large theater at EH S. Second hour will perform first\, followed by zero hour. Both bands will perform six tunes each. The concert is free and open to the public.

What We Are Wearing

Uniform for this performance for all EHS jazz band members is concert black with one piece of purple or gold flair (same as the winter concert... minus the holiday s tuff).
